We offer you a great range of study spots and spaces tailored to your needs:

  • 8 libraries
  • 12 reading rooms equipped with wireless internet access and power outlets
  • 1.338 seating options
  • 80 computer stations
  • Ostia Bibliopoint, targeted at students attending courses and classes at the Ostia campus location
Libraries are open from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Three locations also offer extended opening hours (Monday to Friday until 11 p.m. and and Saturday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m).
 

Study

In our libraries you can consult or borrow the books you need to attend lessons and classes, prep for exams or to further your own interests. You can browse a collection consisting of 619.003 books, 84.101 issues of scholarly journals and 16.558 additional resources (such as DVDs, geographical or geological maps, posters etc.). Using your RomaTrePass credentials, you can also easily remote access a wide range of online contents: 1.387.853 ebooks, 196.287 e-journals, 52 databases.

Through Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services, you can also access materials and documents not available in the Library System. Libraries will also retrieve textbooks and materials in accessible format for students with disabilities or learning difficulties.

Roma Tre University is also part of the agreement “Library together” (“Biblioteche insieme”) that grants students from the four State Universities in Rome (Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre and Foro Italico) access to the library spaces and services.

Want to efficiently navigate among the sources? Want to know more about our online catalogue RomaTrediscovery? Want to learn how to redact a bibliography or how to further your own research?

Contact your library to join our introductory class, apply for a research consultation or have a look at the online tutorials created by our staff.

You can also apply for a stage or internship at one of our libraries and learn more about the work behind the scenes. In 2024 we welcomed more than 1.500 students offering them 577 hours of training, 211 reference services, 800 hours of stage and training.

Engage

Our libraries are always open to both the academic community and to the general public.

You can join our community for events and activities: exhibitions, chess tournaments, book presentations, reading parties. You can also join our Bookclub, free your books at our Bookcrossing zones or share your favourite finds on MLOL.
